Angie Alonso Cortes, ASW - Therapist
As a therapist, my goal is to meet clients where they are, offering a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can begin. I work collaboratively with individuals navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use. I have worked with clients who have had history of DV and community violence.
I draw on a range of skills to support emotional regulation, resilience, and self-understanding. My therapeutic approach blends evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients reframe unhelpful thought patterns, with a humanistic framework that honors each person's unique experience and inherent capacity for change. Whether someone is taking their first step toward healing or continuing on a path of recovery, I am here to support their journey with empathy, compassion and respect.
Tomás Rodriguez, ASW- Therapist
My approach focuses on using a non-judgemental and systems oriented lens to understand how this world has impacted you. I prioritize building authentic relationships with clients by bridging directness with compassion, leveraging humor and irreverence when appropriate.
My therapeutic lens is rooted in DBT, CBT, and ACT; I often pull from psychodynamic and narrative therapy principles. I believe deeply in identifying and leveraging values in order to guide how we live our lives.
I am a Latinx, queer, cisgender man and I feel confident working with BIPOC, all queer and trans folks, and individuals in polyamory/open relationships. Consider reaching out if you're struggling to manage grief/loss, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges.
